This is a co-op review with forestlock on Klonoa. This is a  Wii port of the PS1 game  Klonoa Door To Phantomile. It is a 2.5d platformer that was  very innovative for it’s time. Enjoy the reveiw.

Coming into this game, I didn’t know what to expect. All I heard was that it was similar to another well received game called inFAMOUS. I didn’t really know more than that but I went into the game with an open mind, I tried to not even compare it inFAMOUS because that way I would criticizing the game on its own merits and not based on another.

Dead Space is a third person survival horror game set in the future. Unlike most horror games that take place in a modern setting, Dead Space has a sci-fi twist to it that gives it a certain charm. The game takes place almost entirely on a ship and its been completely taken over “aliens”.

One of the most addicting PC games of the year, Zuma, has been given a sequel. PopCap has taken Zuma and given it an overhaul in graphics as well as more challenging gameplay. You will still have to complete the same objective as you did in Zuma, but with a few more twists. (more…)

Mana Khemia is a turn-based RPG made by Gust and published by NIS America. Mana Khemia is a spin-off of the Atelier Iris series, also made by Gust. The game stars Vayne Aurelius — voiced by the same guy who did Akihiko from Persona 3, in case you already didn’t know — and the game is about him trying to go to school, getting good grades and finding out the secrets to his past.

Once again, Nintendo has teamed up with AlphaDream to put together another Mario & Luigi title. This one, Bowser’s Inside Story, is the third installment of the series. For those who are unfamiliar with this branch of the Mario universe, the Mario & Luigi games are turn-based RPGs that integrate platforming elements into dungeons and the world map, and feature simultaneous play of both of the Mario Brothers. NIS America is well known for its SRPGs with an anime art style. The most well known of these is the Disgaea series. This time, however, NIS decides to bring over a totally different kind of game, far removed from what they are normally known for. Holy Invasion Of Privacy, Badman! What Did I Do To Deserve This? is a real-time strategy game, available on PSN since July, but released on UMD on October 20 with a pixelated look. Muramasa: The Demon Blade is an action rpg platformer for the Nintendo Wii. The game stars two characters, Momohime and Kisuke. The story revolves around these two characters, however unlike most games, instead of having the same story but told in two different perspectives, both characters have their own unique story and the two characters rarely interact with each other in the game at all, however trust me when I say that the plot will be the last thing on your mind when you’re playing this game.

Mana Khemia 2 is a turn based rpg that takes place in Al – Revis Academy. If you played the first game, you would recognize that it’s the same school, but that’s not entirely true. Since the events of the first game, the school — which used to be suspended in mid-air — has now fallen to the world. This has forced some renovations, obviously. The school had been in a financial crisis as well, so more changes had to be made. Instead of just teaching Alchemy, the school now also teaches regular studies and even combat classes. Unfortunately though, the person who funded the school and basically succeeded in getting it back on its feet wants to phase out alchemy classes. However, since students have registered for it, they are only allowing one year left for the alchemy classes.
