Nier Replicant is the other game being released in Japan for the PS3. The one we’re getting is Nier Gestalt and it’s being released in Japan for the 360 while it’s multiplatform here in the US, and its just being called Nier. There has been no word if we’ll be getting Nier Replicant.

Today, Tecmo Koei, along with NSP, revealed that the latest game based on the popular manga/anime series Fist of the North Star (also known as Hokuto No Ken) will be released this summer in the PAL region.  Known as Hokuto Musou in Japan, the game is a successor to the sidescrollers and beat ‘em ups released in the lat 80s to early 90s.  So far, there is no word as of an American release date, but no worries.  If you own a PS3, you can thank Sony for doing away with region locking.

Yakuza 3 is set to be released on March 9th in the US and March 12th in the UK. Only a few more days guys!

Another trailer for Nier has surfaced. A Father’s Strength

Nier is an Action RPG set to be released by Square Enix on April 27, 2010 for Playstation 3 and XBOX 360. The Trailer shows off the spells you’ll be using in the game and one character that plays a key role, a talking book named Grimiore Weiss.

Cooperative missions through Xbox Live and local split screen play is the most significant upgrade from the original, independently released PC version of Zeno Clash to the Xbox Live Arcade version of Zeno Clash: Ultimate Edition.  As the hardcore gang FSU once stated “friends don’t let friends fight alone.”

Sting Entertainment, known for Yggdra Union and Kinghts in the Nightmare, Hexyz Force is a 2-in-1 RPG being published by Atlus for the PSP.  It features a “two-sided fantasy adventure” which has two stories played in the same world from a different perspective, as Cecilia, a cleric, or Levant, an elite knight.  It will allow for those who buy it on UMD to install it onto a memory stick which would allow for minimal load times.  Today, there has been some artwork and screens announced for the upcoming game.  It is to be released on UMD on May 25 and on the PlayStation Network on May 27 at an MSRP of $29.99  Click more for artwork and Screens (more…)

Ghost Trick is an adventure game currently being developed by Capcom.  It is to be released in Japan in 2010 and in the US during the fall for the DS.

Strange Journey is the latest entry into Atlus’s long running Shin Megami Tensei franchise. It is to be released on March 23 for the DS with a soundtrack.

A wide rash of game-crashing errors is spreading among the PS3-owning community at the moment, most of which can be chalked up to a 8001050F error code. This has led to a variety of unfortunate side-effects for those affected, including corrupted trophy information and an inability to access the PSN. When combined, those two issues prevent players from launching certain games, such as Heavy Rain , without being kicked back to the XMB. Rumors say this is affecting Phat model ps3s only. Sony said they are working on fixing this. To be safe I suggest everyone who has not turned on their ps3 today leave it off till this blows off.

Update: Sony has confirmed via twitter Readers/followers are confirming that “slim” units (120/250 GB models) are connecting normally. Everyone else with older models leave your ps3s off till there is a solution.

2nd Update: From Playstation.Blog:

“We hope to resolve this problem within the next 24 hours. In the meantime, if you have a model other than the new slim PS3, we advise that you do not use your PS3 system, as doing so may result in errors in some functionality, such as recording obtained trophies, and not being able to restore certain data.”

This doesn’t look like an easy fix
